Seems Birmingam university have frozen the bank account of a student Christian organization.
"Students ban Chrsitians in row over Gays" is the banner.
I wonder if the same would apply if an Islamic Group was homophobic.

Would you have been happier if this bank account HADN'T been frozen and this group had been allowed to carry on preaching homophobia?
I'd agree entirely that the rule should be applied even-handedly, but if no Islamic group at the university had published anything homophobic (and you haven't cited any evidence to suggest that's the case), why shouldn't the university have acted in this manner?
